AIAC 2025 - Call for Papers


About the Conference

The 13th Ankara International Aerospace Conference (AIAC 2025) will take place at Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Türkiye. Held biennially, AIAC provides a prominent platform for researchers, academics, students, and industry experts to present and discuss the latest developments in aerospace engineering and technology.


Special Sessions

AIAC 2025 features two special sessions in memory of our esteemed colleagues:

  • Prof. Dr. Cahit Çıray: Modeling and Measurement of Turbulent Flows
  • Prof. Dr. A. Yalçın Göğüş: Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Exergy Analysis

Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts of 3–5 pages with preliminary results, key figures, and references. Abstracts should clearly state the purpose of the study and the methodology employed, and should begin with a short summary.

Please refer to the Author's Guide when preparing your manuscript. Abstracts must be submitted online in PDF format via the Submission Portal.


Important Dates

  • Extended Abstract Submission Deadline: June 1, 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: July 16, 2025
  • Full Paper Submission & Registration Deadline: August 15, 2025


Registration

We invite all participants — including contributing authors and general attendees — to register for AIAC 2025. Early registration is appreciated to ensure timely communication and effective planning by the organizing committee.

Journal Publication

The extended abstracts submitted to the conference will be evaluated by the scientific committee for publication in the open-access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS).

Selected papers will be published only upon payment of an additional publication charge by the authors.

The conference is organized by the Aerospace Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University (METU), with contributions from national and international academic and industry partners.
